The bar was designed by Rein Rambaldo, who owns Annabelle together with his wife Willemien. The idea behind it was simple: a bar you stay seated at.
And then what goes in the glass. We make our cocktails fresh, one by one. No premixes and nothing standing ready behind the scenes. We even brew the iced tea ourselves.
Asian? In part. Alongside that are the classics. The sangria is a regular for many guests, as are the wines by the glass and the beer from the family brewery Swinkels.

Next to our regular wine list, full of lovely wines, Annabelle has something special.
Our wine specialist Maaike Corsie scours the world for special wines. Fine houses, wonderful vintages and exclusive lots that she manages to buy at sometimes absurdly low prices.
Really the way wine used to be bought. Find a fine lot, negotiate hard and simply pass that benefit on to our guests.
There is just one catch: when it is gone, it is really gone.
As soon as a lot is sold out, that wine disappears from our collection. No standing stock, no repeat orders. Simply new discoveries every time.
For this we have put up a beautiful screen where you can discover our current finds, including the house, the vintage and of course the price.
And believe us, there are wines on there that make you look at the price twice.
